Nah. You just have to avoid peak traffic times if you're going downtown

Awesome area. Drive up to the San Juan Islands and ferry to a few of them. Beautiful.

There's a good seafood restaurant on Aliki Beach across the sound from Seattle that has beautiful views of the city. Try eating there.

Take trip on one of the commuter ferrys. I took one to Bremerton and visited the Navy museum. You can take one to Victoria if you have a passport.

Statistically it rains much more in south LA than in Seattle, so that's mostly rumor.

Stats can be misleading.

There is nowhere to park downtown. And parking is expensive with time limits. Uber and take public transportation as much as possible.

See the Boeing museum. Also make sure you sit on the left side of the plane when arriving and the right side when leaving, most of the flight patterns will give you a spectacular view of Rainier.

Go to Kels Irish Pub, tell them you are from LSU & they will give you drinks on the house all nite. I've gone back 3 times since LSU last played up there & they still rant about us. Great city, lots of out door things to do. Its "rain" is not like most "rain"...just seems to mist a lot. Bearable.

If you think that was bad, you should go to Aberdeen, where he is a actually from. Kurt was a product of his environment for sure. Imagine a crappy town in Mississippi and then make the weather perpetually gloomy.

That's a good description. I went there last week to check out his house and the bridge. Holy shite, it sucks.

People think of Nirvana as a Seattle band but they were really an Aberdeen/Olympia/Tacoma band. Pretty big difference if you're familiar with the area.

Like most of the more vocal Libtard-lands, it's 70 percent white.

There are worse places to visit.

Downtown is good, mostly clean and vibrant, San Juan Islands are wonderful. The NFL venue is clean and I personally saw a guy kicked out of it (last year) for behavior that wouldn't make the needle move in the Superdome.

SJWs galore
Lotsa homeless folks downtown
Diverse restaurant scene
Some talent there

Seattle sucks. I go there about 2 times per month because my major customer is there. Terrible traffic 3 lane highways with one being an HOV lane. Takes 2+ hours to get anywhere at any time of day.

So many homeless people it's difficult to walk many sidewalks down town. Very sad situation. I guess that's the way Seattle likes it.

I never understand why in threads like this, if it is referencing a city that tends to lean liberal, so many people respond with things like "that place sucks because it's full of communist liberals."

What in the hell do you people do on vacation? Run around sparking political debates with the locals?

Most of them haven't been there. They read about it on here.

A family member of mine spent one night there waiting to go on a cruise. He has it all figured out and brings up that liberal shite about Seattle all the time.
