So, what's the Board's advice for Valentines Day?

Should the son ignore her but send cards to some other girls?
Send her a card that he already had, and say, I had already written your name in it?
Buy candy for all the girls in his class?

Or what?

I'll never forget the story my brother-in-law told me about my nephew (sophomore in high school) and girlfriend split up. He was at home and one of the kids told him what happened. My nephew walks in and his dad says, "hey my man, you and xyz aren't seeing each other anymore?" My nephew just brushes it off and says, "No"
So his Dad says, "hey come sit down - you ok? We can talk about it".
My nephew replies, " I'm fine. I'm not going to be a fig about it"

Good time to take an honest inventory of his skills. Girls want guys with skills.

Nunchuck skills. Bow skills. Computer hacking skills.

She probably is with a guy who has sweet throwing star skills right now.

Bruh are you suffering from PTSD or is the fact that you’re dealing with a sick wife making you such a weirdo?

Get ahold of yourself man.

Maybe a break is in order, Sir.

I have a 14 year old daughter. My advice would be ignore hers. Simply talk to some other chick at school and she’ll go ape shite.

My daughter and her friends are emotional terrorizing young men all the time. They’re fricking brutal. Often the baws are victims of a chick fight. Women are the worst starting at puberty

I wouldn’t know how to handle it.

Rejection sucks, it will happen again. Just don’t let him get into porn and become an incel.

My son’s in 8th grade. Same relationship essentially. They will go to different high schools in 9th grade. I will monitor this topic for replies as I’ll be here in about 6 months. My wife will be devastated as the two moms (no pics) are now buddies.

I went out with a chick from a diff hs. Yeah it didn’t last, we went to diff colleges in diff states. But if it’s still the same town, they don’t have to just end it.

Do guys at all boys schools not have girlfriends?

Take the money he would have spent on Valentine's Day, buy a big arse steak, invite some buds over and cook that shite and not worry about a made up corporate holiday.

My 16yo said the same thing. Ignore her / brush her off and she’s going to feel insecure.

She also said girls want boys that other girls have. He’s going to have options the first week he’s single. Start talking with other girls and she’s going to be jealous and come running back.

He’ll have the option of kicking her to the curb or sticking to whatever new chick he wants.
