Video here. Action starts about 1:44

If you watch the video, keep going until old girl starts beating the bad guy with the wet floor sign. About 4:38.

Thanks for the post but my goodness, how many folks just stood around and left the 16 year old to pretty much fend for himself? Crazy!

I’m curious to see what the boxers on this board have to say.

That big old baw said I got this. But that lady kept trying to drop the piso mojado sign on him.

Did not watch because the reality can’t possibly match that description.

Wrestler didn't need any help. Ole baw was just hanging out until the cops showed up.

Attaboy kid! Everyone else was getting their arse beat. He pinned him within seconds and dominated so badly the guy didn’t put up a struggle.

He had that dude down, and he was not getting up for sure. Good kid too.

Exactly. If you don't know anything about wrestling or any type of ground game a wrestler can keep you down and pretty much do what ever he wants.

Well there was still a few times when the perp tried to resist and what not. Point is there were enough folks around to spell the kid and not leave him to handle the mess basically by himself.

And how did that resistance go?

Dude didn't need help. I get what you are saying....however if the wrestler tried to move to let someone else hold him down there was a better chance of the bad guy getting free. Trust me.... bad guy wasn't going anywhere.... he was probably gassed from attacking the other people and going at it with the wrestler.....the wrestler could have been eating grapes and that dude would not have been able to get up.

After reading the article the wrestler competed in the 285 pound division..... bad guy would need a weapon to beat the wrestler.....

There were guys hanging outside the door that should have helped.

Good for that young guy.

And the lady with the sign. She had a wine bottle in her hand at one point.

A boxer fairs well against a wrestler only until things go to the ground.

A grappler will win the ground every single time.

Hoyce Gracie didn't win any of his early UFC fights on his feet.

I know it's a tense situation, but that bigger guy at the beginning never took a swing. I'd find it hard to believe I wouldn't have at least fought back.

Most street fights end up going to the ground. One on one, grappler wins every damn time. Dude in red hat had no fight in him. Could have charged that skinny guy and taken him down if he didn't want to throw hands. Props to the kid, and yes, someone should have stayed by him as back up even though he had it under control. Not that it would have helped but the dude on the ground had no hip or core action going on.
