I think he used outdated PCs initially to minimize distractions.

Anyone who is reading this, if you have children, share the video along with them. Hopefully it will inspire them. I think it's so imperative to get your kids on somewhat of a well rounded routine. Developing such discipline early on is a vital life skill and tool that many take for granted.

Posting on forums throughout the years I see so many preteens, teens, and young adults who just waste away online, waiting for the next notification or alert that gives them a quick dopamine hit. Resenting their parents, yet living off them, and having no life goals, or talents and skills that could get them ahead in life. They are completely miserable, and without passion. They're like zombies, whose only lives revolve around social media.

It's so depressing to see.

Surely, most here don't want to end up kids that blame them, if they are failures later in life.

I’d never let my kid study for 12 hours a day

That’s called bad parenting.

Why? I have a cousin who just graduated and got a full ride scholarship to a major university. He played baseball, basketball, football, had academic extracurriculars, did volunteer work with his church, and I bet he didn't put 12 hours a day in with everything he did. He certainly didn't study anywhere near that much.

Computer Engineering. He wants to be successful in his own right, become self-reliant, well off, buy his mom a giant house, be an inspiration and successful paradigm for his future wife and children. He's also an empathetic altruist, who wants to help as many people as possible in life.

The lockdown pandemic was what inspired him to motivate himself, but also growing up in a Single Parent Household only raised by his Mother. He had no Father Figure, which caused him great discord, and wants to be there for his family when he creates his own.

And this is something that is really only applicable to a teenager. As you get older, it's not a matter of willpower and discipline that limits your ability to simply grind for long hours every day toward a goal, you're limited by your responsibilities in most cases. It becomes more about squeezing as much as possible into the small windows of opportunities that life affords you in the chaos of raising a family and managing a marriage.

Try doing anything 12 hours a day as a married person with children and you'll have neither before the year ends.

He needs to take 30 minutes out of his day to get a damn haircut

doubt he wouldn’t mind putting a penis in his mouth until the swelling went down
