Is that a picture of the trencher? Because that’s not a walk behind trencher. You stand on the back and operate the controls. And I have no clue how a teen operating that got caught up in it
This is a walk behind

This is a walk behind

So much for getting a leg up in life with this program

It's admirable this company accepts kids from all walks of life. Shame an accident may ruin it. They don't have a leg to stand on, clearly they're at fault.

Common sense goes a long way. This kid didn't have any.

I’m betting the kid was looking at his phone while operating the machine

But he was still asked to operate the car even without knowing how to drive it.

No use arguing with someone like you. But anyone who has been paying attention has seen lots of examples of it. Here in Alabama there have instances of teenage illegals being killed on the job in auto supplier and other manufacturing plants. Take a look at the landscape and construction crews when you’re out and about.

The kid was in high school getting credits through a summer work program.
You act like they picked him up at Home Depot.

Come on dude, you can’t be this detached from reality.

Isn't it amazing? How these illegals miraculously find Alabama companies who turn a blind eye in hiring is truly a mystery. 1 in a million chance.

I can't figure out why he was using a trencher for fence posts
Posted on 1/27/24 at 3:30 pm to jaytothen
His family hired a lawyer, but it looks like the case isn't going anywhere. The lawyer told them he didn't have a leg to stand on.

In my experience, you have to watch your arse if you are on the business end of a trencher. The blades don't move all that fast, but they aren't stopping for rocks, your legs or anything else.
