do think how and where they're stored and how easily accessible they are certainly important factors.
Unless it was her wallpaper then no it is not important

Well yea, that's certainly up for debate.

Unlike you, apparently, I don't need everything spelled out for me. I can see where he was going with that quote.

that her phone should've been password protected? I don't agree with the school's action, but if you are suggesting that she "may face criminal charges" I'd expect to see a quote from someone saying specifically that or a comment that police are considering charges.

Seems like an intervening and unforeseen act circumvented any behavior of hers that could be the proximate cause. Sure these are criminal charges, but where are my defense attorneys in here.

If she gets criminal charges, it should be if and only if its for beating the shite out of that brat.

So if a teenager breaks in to my car, steals my phone, and sees pics of my girl, they are going to charge me with a crime?

That is some bullshite.

Is the kid also facing criminal charges for stealing her phone and sending naked pictures of her without her permission?

I didn't see the thread yesterday so maybe this was adressed but I think it would be appropriate for law enforcement to take a look at the timeline as to when the phone was reported stolen and when any pictures were sent from the phone. If she in fact sent nudes to a student, then claiming the phone was stolen is an easy out.

But following the premise that it was stolen, the veiled threat from the interim superintendent should increase her damages significantly.

Is it against some law or policy to have a phone with pics of your girl in your car?

A better analogy is what if you have a gun in your car parked at a school in a gun free zone, kid steals your gun, gets caught for the theft and breaking into your car. Should you not be responsible for breaking that law or policy just because it was theft or a rule/law broken that exposed your wrongdoing?

He should be IMO.

I believe he is being investigated for it.

She left phone on desk unattended.

He grabbed phone, went to camera roll, found nudies, then took pics from his cell phone of the pics on her cell phone, as I understand it.

Like I said, I don't need it spelled out for me to see where the guy was heading with his quote. The article you're clinging to isn't exactly detailed.

Let's just imagine that instead of his teacher he did this to one of his 16 year old classmates. Kid would be fricked for life.

Except the article yesterday stated that she hadn't broken any school policies by having the photos on her personal phone. (If I am remembering correctly...)

That's a bad analogy. There's no law that says she can't have nudes on her phone at school.

Like I said, not everyone needs everything laid out in front of them in direct quotes. You clearly do. There's nothing wrong with that.
