Well, when they have handcuffed the teachers and there are too many kids growing up in single parent homes with no discipline, some teachers are going to snap.

I never got choked, but I got my arse whipped on a regular basis in junior high. In the early 70's, they would line up four and five of us at a time, just for talking in class. Other times we got it for not doing homework. They'd find any excuse to administer corporal punishment. My mom was a teacher, so I'd usually get grounded or chewed out when I got home too. I was one of those dumb kids that did't learn from it.

I remember one real deal fight in high school. The cop ran in, broke them apart, and in the process pinned one kid against a coke machine.
He ended things quick.
And then cops were removed from the school and rent a cops with cell phones were installed.

Two brothers got into a fight during the football team's PE period one day. We were just hanging out in the gym that day, when they started arguing, and then threw Coke bottles at each other. The older, much stronger brother, pinned his brother down, and was pummeling him. An assistant coach had to put him in a choke hold to keep him from killing his brother. The same coach broke up a fight the same guy was in at practice one day, by grabbing his facemask, and pulling him to the ground by it. This fellow student was the baddest guy I knew at the time. His nickname was RIP, and he had it prison tattooed on his arm. Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up in jail.
That same coach ended up being the principal that would get sent to schools that needed to be "Cleaned up". He was great at scaring the crap out of kids, even after he couldn't lay hands on them.
