Let me make myself clear:

1. She should not be subjected to such crudeness
2. She should be supported by her administrators in properly addressing those perpetrating those actions.
3. These HS students are responsible for their own behavior and should face consequences of their actions and choices
4. The parents of these teens should be raising their children and instilling ethical values not educators.
5. When you work in the public sector or deal with people at all, you should expect not everyone will behave inside the same ethical parameters as you.
6. As a country individuals have been encouraged replace basic coping mechanisms with self pity, exaggerated fear, and welcomed self imposed emotional disability.
7. A corrupt system (if one exists) of ignoring this harassment needs to be brought to light.
8. Displaying a lack of emotional fortitude or mature decision making including bot not limited to ignoring rumors, inappropriate comments, etc. only undermines her position as the respectable mature adult in this situation.

We had three smokeshows at the school I worked at a long time ago.

First one slept with multiple male students after losing husband to a female student she befriended

Second one was engaged and had an affair with a young studly football coach who was also receiving blowies from the hottest jailbait senior

Third one had multiple trysts with track coach, BB coach, and finally the FB coach. She left a married a coach from her new school.

So......how did students get her personal phone number? And the teacher will have a work email, so that is probably monitored already. And SHOULD be the only email students have. If they are sending to her personal email, how/why do they have that?
