Pilots and airlines rank right up there with teachers and nurses when it comes to being the most emotionally needy fricking professions/businesses on earth.

I'm not wearing a three piece suit to fly if I have to take half of it off to get through security.

Have a coworker that always wore crocs when we flew overseas. He said they were more comfortable than shoes because his feet swelled while in flight. I wore my damn boots because it's what I do.

It's sad that we, as a society, have to be told not to wear pajamas in public. Trash

For flying economy I don't judge. People are boxed in like fricking livestock. They just want to have some physical comfort on what is otherwise a miserable experience.

Guess I'm in the minority. Where what you want. Flying sucks. I want to be as comfortable as I can.

So much this! Airlines created this societal development. They turned a perceived luxury experience into wal mart in the sky with their ticketing and seat logistics. Shouldn't be surprised when monkeys start throwing shite in the zoo you built them.

I wonder if that why it was suggested to wear compression socks when flying?

I changed into shorts and a hoodie before a red eye out of LAX and people were giving me the stink eye. People not dressing as slobby there.

I'm glad to see there's some common sense in this thread. I'm convinced that the security lines at major airports are intentionally psychologically disruptive. And the inconveniences only get worse from there. I'll excuse the PJs.

Today’s blue jeans, with the stretchy fabric, are so comfortable it’s gotta be people making a statement by wearing pajamas in public.

I feel bad for that chick's husband. Imagine having to live with someone who talks so freaking obnoxiously. Something tells me this lady only travels in 1st class or private.

With that said, she makes an excellent point. Don't get on the plane looking like a slob.

Flying should cost at least twice as much as it currently does.

Stop catering to the dregs of society and go back to targeting the upper middle class and business travelers

GOOD! I'm tired of watching people board a plane like they're going to a sleepover
