I know that school buses are generally hubs for misbehavior, but my bus back in middle school was particularly bad.

In addition to fights and guys smoking weed pipes and playing stinkfinger, I also remember the guys putting the windows down, and shooting rubber bands at the cars passing by that had their windows down. All the guys dipped, and I remember one time when a guy took his dip cup, and when a car drove by with its window down, he threw it and it splattered all up in the chick's lap.

Also the guys used to fart so much that our driver, Howard, finally had enough and sent letters home through the mail to our parents. Unfortunately for him many of us got the mail at our houses. At the bottom of the letter under where he had stated we had been "expelling gas" he included his name and phone number in case our parents wanted to call. Big mistake. The next morning we went to the Uni-Mart near our bus stop and called his house, knowing that he wouldn't be there because he was out on his route. His wife answered and the guy that called claimed to be a bookie and said that Howard owed him money. His wife was in hysterics.

Not long after that, for obvious reasons, we got a new driver. For the first few days we were really nice to him, and found out all about him. We found out he loved to hunt. So the next day as we were driving home past an open field one guy starts yelling, "12-point! 12-point!" and pointing out the window. The driver swerved his head and was like, "Where! Where?" He almost drove the bus into the ditch he was so excited.

Then I remember another time we had been taking "sex ed" during health class, and received a printout of the male reproductive system. My buddy who sat in the very back seat put the diagram up behind his head so that whomever was driving behind us would see it. Some lady eventually got behind us and followed us all the way to our bus stop, then demanded his name so that she could report him. He tried to tell her he was unaware that it was showing and that he had just put some papers behind his head to use as a pillow

I also remember a big bully who used to slam kids' heads off the windows. They'd be all sleepy in the morning and he'd sneak up the aisle and crack their heads off the window they were sitting next to. Some poor kid named Russ had his head bust through the glass or whatever it was -- after that they replaced all the windows with plexiglass.

Any other horror stories?

Private school kids will never understand the rambunctious anarchic shite that goes down in public school.

I mooned someone before. That was probably the worst thing we did in the back of the bus. And in my senior year, e-cigs and vapes got pretty popular so we'd smoke in the back of the bus thinking we were badass.

Will never forget how we talked this girl in to getting down to her bra and panties on the bus. We were in 7th grade so this was awesome to us.

Just on days my buddy didn't go to school. Which he flunked out within the first couple months due to absences. And after that, I started riding with someone else until I had enough saved to buy my car.

Had a few fights, saw a few fights and even had a kid get kicked off the bus a pretty good distance away from his house. I think he threw something at the bus driver. Bad arse kids!

I feel like an absolute piece of shite thinking back about it, but when I was in 8th grade, another 8th grader used to force this girl to give him head on the way home. Should've said something, but never had the courage. She didn't ride the bus much longer after this happened, but I still feel bad for her

I got a detention in second grade for showing a girl my underwear. She told me she was gonna go tell on me and I said "Well you told me to show you" followed by a "Well I was just kidding" should've known right there that girls are nothing but trouble.

In high school we rode the bus to the local airport for our occupational program with the kids from the alternative schools which were also at the airport. They were selling drugs and knives and of course the occasional fights would occur.

Our bus wasn't like that. My neighbor a few houses down GrandMaw was our bus driver she was black woman named Mrs. Carolyn. She drove our bus from K-9th grade or so, then I started driving or catching a ride with neighbor.

Anyway, no one fricked around on her bus. One time a black chick name Mebo, and an Indian (feather) named Missy got into a fight. She stopped the bus on Prospect Ave and broke it up made Mebo get off the bus and walk home for starting the fight. The next day when we dropped Mebo off her mom was outside wanting to know why Mebo got put off the bus. Mrs Carolyn told her. Then Mebos mom slapped the shite out of Mebo. You can't get away with shite like that these days.

I remember in middle school, Inwas in a fight on the bus which started over another kid crumpling up my paper airplane and shoving me out of my seat. It was broken up quickly, so no one got hurt.
Since this fight happened during standardized testing, they waited 3 weeks to discipline us, suspending both of us just in time for a social studies fair I was supposed to compete it. I didn't get to go, and never got my entry back.

Since the fight was broken up so quickly, we kept arguing about who won. When we had our school fair, there was one of those inflatable boxing rings with the sumo suits. We decided that we would compete in that and the winner would get to say they won the fight. I won, and we ended up as friends.

im sure a lot of posters rode the short bus

We were trying to think of ways to not have to go to school so we set out a bunch of roofing nails but it wasn't successful in giving the bus flat tires...some neighbors got them though.
