except that masks were mandated for everyone in public places. I don't pretend to know for sure, but I think the answer might be true. We'd be better off economically, and I think we might have achieved better results on the disease front. And I say that as someone who despises the idea of wearing a mask.

We’d all be dead. Good thing we had a shutdown.

I disagree. Warn the public, but let them make up their own minds. No shutdowns and no restrictions would have been the best policy.

false

a lot of hospitals would have been overrun with cases, the subsequent shutdowns would have been far more severe, and the economy would have taken an even more massive hit b/c of it.

I don't know, a lot of people in China wear masks all the time, and they didn't seem to do so hot.

New York, some areas of California and New Orleans would have been screwed. Rest of country would be fine.

I think we're about to see a huge jump in cases.

Warn the public and shut down schools, churches, and large gatherings of people for leisure. The rest shoudve been up to the person to decide their own risk.

Or lock down, and then open up as soon as we understood we were not going to be overrun.

We did neither.

Musk’s opinion was pretty spot on.

Early on it may have been necessary but after about 2 weeks, it should’ve been everyone’s option.

If you’re worried about getting sick, stay home. If not, go for it
