Sort of a spin off from the other thread....

Is it possible that people who have crippling white guilt are probably trying to psychologically atone for something incredibly racist they do or have done in the past?

I think most of them have issues with their White fathers. People are not set up psychologically to deal intelligently with the kind of critical feedback a father gives. The father is telling you what you need to hear, but everyone else is a member of the Self Esteem Mafia, and working to undermine him.

I honestly think they're the most racist people aside from actual white supremacists. Like the family in Get Out.

I wouldn't say they're necessarily covering for it. It's just another way of exhibiting their racism. The people that feel "White guilt" feel like they've hurt someone who is less than, someone that couldn't actually help themselves. It's pity more than anything.

And that's fricking racist.

This is probably true. Why feel guilty for just existing?

There is likely something causing those people to have that kind of baggage.

This is not, nor has it ever been, a real thing.

I don’t think so. I think it’s mostly young people who have just swallowed the narrative whole.

True. The default position of the white guilt liberal moron is to believe in the inferiority of other races and the superiority of whites. Being "woke" reinforces their own feelings of superiority. White guilt is literally a white supremacist mindset.

False

They are using their “white guilt” as a form of charity

That's a pretty good way to put it. Their sense of superiority (textbook racism) drives their lower expectations from some people or their guilt about being white.

Not even that

It is a form of trying to prove to the social media world that they are better

That is what so much of social media is about......the drive towards a sense of superiority

Yep. And they use their whiteness to save the poor ethnic peoples who cannot help themselves. Idk how more people don't see it that way.

i think it's to do with knowing that while you can personally not be guilty of racism, you can still admit that the system that was created over the past 150 years led to certain races having a harder time succeeding in it

They are trying to address an insecurity about something - such as being a racist in private.

Go read this book. If you think you've read things that make sense on race relations in this country and how white liberals act, this book and what Steele says are like a punch to the gut. So spot on and scary when you consider he wrote it almost 20 years ago.

Exactly right
For you to possess white guilt you have to first assume you are better, but feel bad about it
