No dumbass lockdowns, Sweden did this right. Kept life perfectly normal while protecting the elderly and immune compromised population only. Their economy is unscathed! Take notice liberal freaks! We’ve been had!!!!

Different population dynamic than the US and much smaller country.

Good for them not caving to international pressure and pushing through to the other side of this.

Y’all keep posting this stuff over and over and don’t really know what “perfectly normal” means. LOL

well that isn't entirely true

they closed all high schools, all universities, and didn't allow crowds over 50

moderate restrictions, sure , but definitely not "perfectly normal"

The Gov health agency behind this projection pulled their report after finding an error in their calculations.

I also enjoy how for decades we have been told by a certain demographic how we cannot compare the US to nordic countries because of demographics and culture, but now those same people are willfully comparing the US and nordic countries...

Its truly fascinating

Well, they didn’t go full retard, but it’s not like they didn’t do anything. Plus I’m pretty sure their curve is pretty nasty. Because that’s all that matters these days apparently.

Among the claims were that for every one person tested positive for COVID-19, up to 999 others could also have the infection without knowing.

Swedish journalist Emanuel Karlsten queried this during a Q&A session at the press conference. Given there are more than 15,000 confirmed cases, the Agency’s estimate would mean that the total number of likely infections would be greater than the entire population of Sweden.

Reading articles posted about it, and there’s no data backing that up. Just like everybody else they do not have enough data.
As a general rule it takes two cycles for herd immunity to actually have a significant impact on a society.
Will they reach herd immunity sooner than other places, yes, but in a few weeks... very doubtful.

I hope they are right but do they have any proof? That’s a bold claim.

I was waiting for the daily sweden thread because I knew whoever started it wasn't going to include the fact that the report all the recent news stories are based on got pulled after they discovered their numbers were junk.
