It came up to our garage door but never came in the house back in 2016. Tonight it just covers the sidewalk.

Not too far from you, my concern is the new oak trace development and what that’ll do for the drainage in Plantation gardens

The difference is you realized it and didn't come running to tOT to complain about Target shooing you out the door.

Sitting in my car outside work in st Gabriel. I don’t think there’s any way for me to safely get from here to Essen right now. Anybody know if the interstate is still shut down?

Wonder if Livingston and Ascension will have school, they have some low areas that are probably flooded.

5” for me here near St. Amant but that’s nothing compared to the rest of Ascension.

unless i’m reading it wrong. but the total accumulated rainfall total for from right now until 4am tomorrow shows us getting pounded again on the euro. the gfs says we get the rain total we’re supposed to. i’m trying to upload the pic, but i can’t get it to do right. it’s from weather.us

believe me, i’d be tickled shitless if i’m reading this wrong

Coming down pretty good. Looks like it may be moving faster than what passed over BR. Hope it doesn't sit here for long.

Damn the lightning is bad.

I just looked it up and unless I’m wrong, you’re wrong.

Also, Ascension schools are closed today.

i feel a little better now. i must be looking at it wonkey. i just was confused by how the two models were so freaking far apart - with what i saw the euro saying (15”) and what gfs was saying 2.5”.

driving on i10 yesterday i was thinking about that exit area as we passed. by that time i knew LC was underwater and we had been hitting terrible weather from slidell
