Thank all the greedy developers, for swiping up the earth for craptastic starter homes on top of one another

Yup too much development I told my buddy what my theory is and I think it has contributed to 2016 and tonight. I said that would happen again, and I wish to be proven wrong at some point of course
Sorry bro Entergy sucks. Demco at my house stayed on through the ice in February and it has so far tonight. Good luck gettin back ASAP

It seems everything on the east side of the north branch of ward creek is flooded (westminster). I’m just on the west side of it in cypress point which is in the back of Essen heights. Holding out hope that I’m not flooded. Still stuck at work

I was that a-hole. I really had no clue. I was just shopping at target. I didn’t know it was really going to flood - not like THIS. I got the alerts on my phone, but you know how that goes. We get these alerts all the time. I stopped watching the news a little while after Biden’s inauguration, so I really didn’t know. The clerks at Target were like “Um we are closing.”
I heed the warnings for hurricanes etc, but I really didn’t hear anything about this.

That’s surprising, if I recall correctly, weren’t you one the champs helping inform people during 16’?

I’ll refocus eventually. Gotta raise these kids. We have 5.

How far towards Pine Park from Ward’s Creek is Westminster flooded? Did Downing Drive or the school get water?

Amazing how much better you feel. I’m glad I’m aware of the general truth - 99% of the time they’re lying to us . (Not the weather guys. They try their best. But “the media”)
Anyhow. This flood is pretty bad. There were kayaks rescuing people from that apartment complex across from Benny’s carwash on siegen. They were bringing them to school buses. That apartment building is so low- the one right before the siegen overpass and the marketplace exit to go to Lowe’s.
It was sad. The women looked terrified. The water was deep because of how deep down a hill that building is. That huge ditch thing that runs allllll alongside Lowe’s and bed bath and beyond etc is right there.

You do know what causes that right? And there are pills to prevent that sort of thing right?

Gotchya. I really did feel bad once i got outside and realized how bad it was though. I thought these people need to get home. I need to get home. I felt irresponsible.
Apparently a lot of people were caught off guard though because the parking lot of all the gas stations on siegen were packed like sardines for 2 hours straight. We all just sat there.

Lol. Yes. Husband wanted 5. He’s Irish. Guess it runs in their blood. Well he said he did until private school bills. Then he was fine with 3. But natural family planning is tricky when both parties are drinking on a “fertile night”
We are careful now, though. VERY

I thought the rain would have died down by now but it’s still raining hard in St. Gabriel and the street in the neighborhood has been flooded since 7 tonight.

Damn, didn’t those streets in the back flood in ‘16? Hopefully it starts receding.
