Surprise, surprise. JBE’s dotd was uncooperative with bucees.

DOTD refused to consider bucees recommendations for how to create the traffic interchange for the location in Ruston. As soon as Landry got in, Ruston mayor and other local politicians met with new dotd and, voila, they are open to bucees ideas. Hopefully this is the final hurdle. I pray we never elect a democrat again. I don’t know if Landry will be great, but stuff like this is stupid. These guys are building these stations all over the country. They probably have a better idea what the traffic issues will be and how to avoid.

Never had an issue getting in or out of a Bucee's parking lot. I have found getting to a pump a shitshow around Houston because people think it's fine to fill up and leave their car at the pump while they go in the store for an hour.

Which you would not read in the Advocate or insert local news operation here, but a Landry offical that might have been hired in high school to do work for a business looking to do work with the state is reported with clutched pearls and bated breath.

I have never been. Never had a need to stop when I happen to be near one and I'm not making a special stop just to go.

Bucees can take over the entire Houma area roads as far as Im concerned because these DOT mudderfrickers over here aint worth a frick
