$120k to over see a will? That's highway robbery.
It also said she refused to answer a question yesterday about whether she has been named executrix for other estates. This case may be just the tip of the iceberg.

She used her position to take advantage of another person who probably lacked the understanding of what was going on. That's wrong!
If she used personal funds to cover payroll than someone needs to audit the COA. That doesn't excuse her from taking advantage and putting herself in a will.

what I'm failing to understand is why do they keep overlooking the fact that she got caught doing some shady, blatant conflict of interest, unethical shite?

i think her estate in whole was alittle over 300k so basically Amar is taking almost half of that to oversee the estate (not including any potential gains with investments)
If this executrix invests any of that money, probably going to be invested into businesses owned by family or friends of hers.

I've been convinced that it is since I saw the $500/month amount.
Are notarized documents public and searchable? I'd be interested to see what other things the COA board member is authorizing.

They are trying to ignore the elephant in the room in hopes that no one else addresses it.

Okay. So she did nice things.
So why did someone so otherwise nice and caring choose to exploit someone like she has?

They need to be audited ASAP. Is there any recourse available to cut off the public money they're getting? No reason for these yahoos to be robbing the city's tax payers of $8MM annually.

well maybe she's just a really, really good executor

Because they can't see past skin color. They don't care about the black folk that were wronged because it was done by another black.
But once whitey comes snooping around then they circle the wagons no matter what.

Taking 20 years to close a $300K estate would lead me to believe otherwise.

If the COA director who is accused of this was a white male or women, the sjw's warriors and gary would want them burned at the stake

What she and the lawyer did was set up a Tutorship, a trust if you will, to hold and manage assets for the minor grand children. They then gave themselves a salary to manage those assets. But those grandchildren have parents who could manage the assets so that makes no sense. Even stranger, rather than terminate the trust and turn the assets over to the grandchildren at 18 or 21. They shockingly decided the kids needed to be 30. That, of course, extends the $500 a month management fee another 10 years.
It's really indefensible unless we were looking at a billion dollar estate with lots of diversified assets and reasoning behind not giving the parents control.

One of our favorite SJW's wrote this today. What's a shame is that Clark-Amar ripped off an elderly woman to the tune of $120,000 and used her position of power to do so. How can any human-being be "generous" when the rip off a family for essentially non existent services? If she was a kind and generous woman she would have administered the paltry trust for free.
******
Sylvia Weatherspoon as a Christian woman watching this witch hunt against a fellow woman of God, please seek the real truth here. When Tasha took over the COA and they were in such a deficit that they couldn't pay employees, she and her husband took out a personal line of credit to pay her staff. Does this sound like a woman who would steal or be deceitful? It's a shame what WBRZ and these councilmen have done to this kind and generous woman.

Can we start an investigation into how she paid back that loan?
