So it hasn't formed yet? I can swear that about a month ago I got a notification that said "El Nino forms in the pacific.. Drier than usual for Australia and lots of rain for North America".. That's not exactly what it said, but it was along those lines.

I saw a reel today proclaiming a colder than normal winter (wetter too) for the Deep South due to this strong/super El Niño. I’ll believe it when I see it.
