I get where you are coming from, but I used to get headaches squinting so much until I decided to start wearing sunglasses.

But after driving a while with them and exiting a car when the sun out I can’t even look at the concrete.

squinting definitely causes headaches. But so does wearing glasses

But squinting is like huddling your arms when cold. It might be a natural reaction and make you feel better. You don’t have to do it all the time. You can train yourself to stop

This is a problem.
People who wear them outside all day every day can’t function outdoors without them. That is an unnatural and unhealthy dependency and it doesn’t have to be that way

I can't get much blinder than I already am, so I think I'll wear my sunglasses everyday anyway.

They keep my wife from seeing me checking out other women, so there’s that.

Also, $300 sunglasses are bullshite. Made in same factory as the $20 Amazon ones. Same goes for shoes and most clothes.

I can get on board with this. I've seen it suggested that sunglasses make your eyes "lie" to your body and make you more susceptible to burning.

God knows I've lost/scratched/chipped so many pairs, it'd be nice to leave them behind.

Same as “sunblock” lotion.

And colorectal screening.

I hardly ever wear them while driving. I'll wear them if im in direct sunlight for an extended period of time but thats about it.

But, uv exposure to your eyeballs is not beneficial to your health. Cheap sunglasses with no uv protection are actually worse for your eyes than wearing no glasses at all in direct sunlight.

I couldn’t go outside without them. It was debilitating and ridiculous. Powered through and it got better. Now I can spend all day in the sun and not even think about it. You can do it.

I find direct ocular shade from a baseball cap or visor to be more effective than sunglasses. Are caps/visors scams as well?

Visors? Yes. Caps? No.

Binge drinking also has this effect. But should you spend all day in the sun and not think about it?
