Me and some buddies painted land lines one summer in south Alabama…pretty sure that’s the absolute worst job I’ve ever had. Pay was alright though for a few high schoolers.

HS worked at a hotel as a gofer and then at Pizza Hut. College I was a scholarship athlete (golf), so naturally I worked at a country club where I could practice and play for free every day.

Feel bad for some kids because gas is $4.70 for regular where I am at, so no lawn cutting business's or cruising the town for them probably.

That and it seems like all the people that cut grass when I was in HS are still cutting grass for a living 25 years later

HS: stockroom for various retail shops
College: Can't really call it a summer job when you did it all year; but retail, tried service industry for a month, ended up as a bank teller until I graduated

Lifeguard at a country club. It wasn't what you think. The sun was oppressive. Milfs were nonexistent, just a bunch of bratty youngins. Highlight of the day was policing up soiled diapers around the kiddie pool.

Umbrella boy in Gulf Shores. Best job ever.

Flora-Bama / The Keg every night... then roll in to work still drunk. Sweat it out within an hour. Enjoy the day. Do it all over again.

While at LSU in 2002, 2003 I worked at Audubon Golf Course in New Orleans on the greens crew right after the renovation. Started out doing simple things and by the end of the first summer, I was mowing fairways and rough on a TriKing and cutting greens. Would work 6-2 every day, then grab clubs and play 9 or 18.

Then Brunos that night or TJs or Madigans.

Was incredible but hot as frick.

My first job was calling potential customers for a carpet cleaning company. Basically just opened the phone book, picked a page, and started dialing numbers. I got paid $10 per customer. In 2 days I made a grand total of $10 so I quit.

Next job was cooking at Pizza Hut. Kept that job from my junior year of HS til I graduated from college. It was great, especially with all the food perks.

In highschool I had a restaurant job and worked as a summer camp counselor.

In college I had no less than 11 different jobs, usually working 2-3 different ones at a time:
Phone surveys at LSU's PPRL
Sold textbooks at CTX
Kitchen at whatever that restaurant was after portobellos closed.
Sold blood plasma 2x a week for about 2 years
AV guy at big cox auditorium classroom
Wing stop Bluebonnet
Play N Trade Bluebonnet
Stockpile furniture store on airline
I'm sure I'm forgetting some too.
