Got on one this morning in Washington county. Didn’t call too much but he was hot and answering to everything we gave him. Kept closing distance. Couldn’t have been far last time he gobbled. Never put eyes on him. A few minutes after he gobbled the last time at us I heard a group of hens start cackl...

I didn’t even bother yesterday morning with the weather what it was and having spent the entire weekend in Mississippi hunting. Waiting to hit it hard Wednesday and Thursday morning before work....
I’ve got two kids in private school. In for a total tuition of 25k and then I end up donating 2500-3000. Kids in Kindergarten and 2nd grad. They seem to be thriving so it’s been money well spent. ...
From the article I read for 2025 and 2026 school years only families that make less than 300 percent of the national poverty line will be eligible. Starting with the 2027 school year all Alabama students will be eligible....

Baseball has definitely screwed me up the last few seasons but I purposefully did not coach this year. Will be hitting missisippi for its first 2 weeks at my buddies place in George county then to my place in Alabama for the rest in Washington co...

Ever since the river came up we have been covered up with birds on our place in Washington county. Been doing my best to keep them there. I don’t know how I feel about season being pushed back but it seemed like last year the first 3 weeks we just didn’t hear shite and then the woods came alive. Had ...
Peyton hasn’t liked ole miss since he chose to go to Tennessee. His dad caught shite from a lot of ole miss people over that decision and I think that plays a factor. He also is not a lane fan. Archie I don’t think hates ole miss but it’s no secret he’s not a lane fan and I don’t think he really is a...
It’s on at our place in Washington county. Watched a 7pt chasing a does in a green field Friday afternoon. 8 pt killed Sunday morning chasing. Saturday was kinda slow....
I was at this one. Remember being very confused and not knowing what was going on but the players all ran out onto the field celebrating. That was certainly odd. ETA If I remember correctly I watched replay of the post game press conference that night and miles was saying he didn’t know why the...
It’s 4th and 25 for the rebels. The Billy cannon punt return. treadwell fumbling going into the end zone to take the lead against auburn and breaking his leg....

If I were Keith Carter I’d have a bigger problem with the 2:30 kickoff on September 9th in New Orleans than how many tickets we get to the game. It’s going to be hotter than 2 rats banging in a wool sock....
I agree with your thinking on sanders but the fact is right now in the portions of practice open to the media Dart is getting all the first team reps. Based on that, his performance in the spring and his performance in fall camp so far I’m 95 percent confident darts going to be the starter. I’m not ...

I mean if you exclude freeze going 5-7 his last year, getting caught engaging with hookers and leaving the school in ncaa hell then sure I guess we could say similar lows....
33 here. My 8 year old son I really have never had to spank too much. Usually me being disappointed in him wrecks him. The only spanking he’s received recently is when I caught him stealing money out of my truck when at the hunting camp one weekend trying to show off to his friends. My 4 year old li...

Patience helps. I had the safety off on one the other day in Washington county. Would have been easiest bird I’ve ever killed. Got up there that afternoon and decided to go listen. Get set up in a field they roost next to. Yelp. About two minutes later I here a cluck and out of the corner of my eye ...
Damn. Wife and I are staying at the watermark in downtown Baton Rouge this weekend. Don’t plan on going out searching for hookers and cocaine so I should be fine right?...
We are in Washington county not far from Jackson. Our rut definitely peaked weekend of the 4th. Had a little bit of rut activity the week or two before that and they were still going this past weekend but that weekend of the 4th it was just on. Made for a fantastic weekend....
I recently had a similar situation. Work for a local engineering firm and recently had the opportunity to move to a big national firm. Pay was much bigger and bonuses structure was great and insane retirement plan. Hated I was going to have to leave as I love my boss and I’m the only young person at...
Depends on what the neighbor is like. The neighbor behind me is a good person and had a dead oak tree in his yard that if it came down would fall directly on my carport most likely. I just talked to him and asked him if he minded me getting urban forester out to assess the tree. He said we should re...
