Sulphur Mayor apparently is a POS

I have seen gossip hens on Facebool claim he's been having an affair with his Chief of Staff who he gave a $91K per year job to without a formal interview process, which is why his wife served him divorce papers a few days ago.
The Chief of Staff made a Facebook post in response to one of the gossip posts, denying the affair and saying that she was the victim of sexual harassment and is retaining counsel after she resigned.
This is the Chief of Staff next to the mayor

Just a messy situation. The wife is quoted saying the husband told her that he wasn’t stopping the affair and that she could chose a gun or divorce.

The Chief of Staff has some better-looking photos on Facebook but Im not going to post them here, so I posted that public photo which is not a good one of her. She's much more attractive than the mayor could probably normally land and much younger than him. It's a true WTF head-scratcher if the affair is real.

Why not? They have a sizeable population and pull in tons of revenue from refineries and all of the rest of the industry there

I think there's more layers to this story than just a shitty mayor. The entire city council was replaced as well as the mayor in the last election cycle. The fire chief just retired due to a "hostile" work environment. The Sulphur political system has been corrupt for a long time and there's too much "sniffing around" and folks are bailing and deflecting.

why would you think an incorporated city of over 20k in the city limits and brings in over 20 million in tax revenue wouldnt need a mayor
i mean kind of a dumb question. this isnt some podunk town of 1500 people. its a top 20 city in the state in terms of population
if the rumors I have heard about the mayor....yea he might be going to jail when all is said and done

I was wrong anyway. It was a $97K per year job. He made the job up for her
