No, but I'd be willing to bet that you're one of those opinionated assholes who believe they know everything about anything. Like I said, a lot of "fun" to be around.

Depression is a demon. I'm sorry your friend took such a desperate path.

Prayers sent.

I haven't read the whole thread but let me guess...some people who have never suffered from depression are trying to give advice on how to overcome depression?

Like clockwork.

Well we had this guy who was trained to ignore suicide threats by the patients and to just send them back to their rooms because it's the pussy way out in life

It's sad that they let a simplistic-minded idiot like him have a job like that.

They view suicide as the last time they will hurt them.

But if only they knew that it's just the beginning of the hurt. Because their children and everyone that loves them will now suffer for a lifetime. That one person's misery is gone, but their action has left a trail of misery that will continue on for a generation or more.

ITT: people who know someone who committed suicide act like anyone else’s opinion is worthless because like it’s hard and stuff and you don’t understand.

Suicide is a mental illness and a sign of a weak mind. That shite doesn’t just happen.

What’s even more sad is that apparently he didn’t consider his children worth fighting those demons for.

Do you think he was thinking rational? If so, he wouldn't have killed himself. Seriously, the feeling that the world is better without him was probably too strong.. That in his mind he thought he was doing the best thing.

They just pronounced my little cousin. He shot himself yesterday morning I guess. He got into an argument with his wife or something hell I don't even know the whole story. I know I'm fighting tooth and nail for my life and he just throws his away. I just don't understand it.

When I was in college I worked at a large group home for bi-polar schitzophrenics. Almost every night one of them would come to the office and claim they were going to kill themselves.

We were trained to not to feed into their attention seeking behavior. Once they realized we could care less they would go back to their rooms and forget all about it.

I have no sympathy for people who attempt suicide. Frankly, its the pussy way out and the vast majority of the time they are only looking for attention. There are so many resources that people can go to for help in this day and age.

Go on meds. Do something. Dont take the easy and selfish way out.

Too bad one didn’t come into your office and claim they were going to kill you instead of themselves then we wouldn’t have to read your stupid made up shite.
