I can understand both sides of this. I had a gf who multiple times threatened to kill themselves and allegedly had tried it before. It's not fair to do that to people, it's not fair to put that onus on them. Obviously the guy is not in the right frame of mind, but assuming he's going to die, now it's in his kids' minds. My person hasn't gone through with it yet, but it still helped mess me up for a long time.

There are some topics that people will thankfully never understand unless they experience them. Suicide is one of them.
Lol, only my opinion is right and no one else can talk about it.
I am sure trannys, serial killers, and pedophiles feel the same way. They are special, no one understands, and they should be left alone to do as they wish

I disagree with this. Put yourself in their shoes as best that you can and imagine that you are at a point where you are literally going to kill yourself. Would you follow through with that just for some attention that you are never going to receive or benefit from because you will be dead. These people are in a mental space that I don't think we can comprehend if we have never suffered from that condition ourselves.

A little compassion wouldn’t hurt man. I agree that suicide is a cowardly act but I also recognize that these people are truly not in their right mind when doing it or attempting it.

If you've never been there, you will never understand. Logic, rational thinking, morality, all of it go out the window. Everything good is external, everything bad is internal. You literally believe your loved ones will be better off and they will be glad you're gone. There is one reason people go through with it: they don't want to face tomorrow. Some "make sense", but most don't to a person who still has the ability to reason.
If you've never been there or watched someone go through it, best to sit this one out.

The thing he failed to mention was the person/persons who probably DID commit suicide after he told them he "didn't care." It's sad that they allowed an idiot like that to work there in the first place.
