“Somebody call 911. There is an emergency on 105 Cross street. There has been a shooting. Brandon's kids are to belong to his mother, and all of his belongings: 223 rifle, 40 cal pistol, 20 gauge pump shot gun, 2002 chevy truck, 1990 chevy truck. Don’t own nothing else, and money on a card that $1221 money is on. Done with the world and life. Good bye everybody.“

A guy that worked on a couple of pipeline projects with me attempted suicide the other night. He has a wife and four children. Right now, he’s still alive. I don’t know the details of his condition, only that he’s still alive. The above quote was left on his Facebook page a couple of nights ago. If you’re the praying kind, please send one up for him, as well as his family and friends.

I know people fight their demons on a daily basis, but I’ll never understand suicide. I’m not judging right now. I’m just dumbfounded by this.

This is very sad, but you probably shouldn’t be posting his letter. Or at least not the name of his children’s mother.

I like how he mentioned all his firearms in his note.

It has to be terrible living with the thought that you don’t have a single thing worth fighting those demons away for.

Sounds like he wanted to be found while he was still alive.

Sometimes it’s the feeling that the world would be better off without you. Especially for those who consistently do things that hurt their loved ones. They view suicide as the last time they will hurt them.

Doubt it. Probably didn’t want his kids to be the first to find him

What’s even more sad is that apparently he didn’t consider his children worth fighting those demons for.

He was not in a normal person's mindset. He probably thought his children would be better off without him.

Prayers to his family and him. Hopefully he can get the mental help he needs.

bullshite, a shotgun to the mouth is pretty self explanatory and not going to leave you alive if that's your intent

A girl I went to college with did this. She posted “I love you all, even if I couldn’t love myself.” Hanged herself at a playground in her home town. That was rough.

When I was in college I worked at a large group home for bi-polar schitzophrenics. Almost every night one of them would come to the office and claim they were going to kill themselves.

We were trained to not to feed into their attention seeking behavior. Once they realized we could care less they would go back to their rooms and forget all about it.

I have no sympathy for people who attempt suicide. Frankly, its the pussy way out and the vast majority of the time they are only looking for attention. There are so many resources that people can go to for help in this day and age.

Go on meds. Do something. Dont take the easy and selfish way out.

If this is your opinion on suicide. You should keep it to yourself and never ever share it with anyone.

There are some topics that people will thankfully never understand unless they experience them. Suicide is one of them.
