I am sure the family of the guy in this video has a multimillion dollar lawsuit incoming against the electric bike company and the producer of these batteries.

Doubtful looking at where it is. His family would get sent to work the mines to make more exploding batteries for even thinking about it.

Good question.

I think those are built differently than the batteries for ebikes and EVs .... not as much stored energy plus a different chemistry.

It's why the Battle Born failure rate is almost non-existent.

1. What are people trying to accomplish by "tampering" with the battery?

2. Will they continue to burn even if covered by inert materials, like sand?
