I think he wanted to have sex with as young a girl as he could get to agree to it, and if his buddy sent the pics to him, he must have thought Jared would be into it.

And to the others, even in our ever more vulgarized society, the moment some a-hole tries to step up and normalize this behavior, they will get slapped down hard. Trannies are one thing. They are adults who can make their own choices. Even if a kid were to be willing, the repulsion toward this is so primal that the results wouldn't be pretty.

I think as grown people, we are all supposed to protect children. You could very well say that this guy abused a "position of trust". He was certainly given access to schools and similar places that an ordinary person wouldn't be given access to.
