That’s manageable. Wait till you get crepey skin on your arms and legs.

I can no longer bend over to pull on my socks. I have to rock back on the bed while pulling them up now. I also have to hold on to the dresser to put a leg in the proper hole when pulling up flannel p.j.'s.

That's about right. Average household income was about $8000 annually.

Taking forever to heal whether it be a scrape or a dam pulled muscle. Always some aching!

Suddenly realizing the hot 31-year-old divorcee you used to flirt with at the laundromat in your college days would be in her 70s now.

I went to sign up for an event for young engineers and realized that I was too fricking old.

If I can offer one bit of advice to everyone trying to heal muscle pains...

Take antiinflammatories before bed rather than when you wake up.

Proper hydration and allowing your muscles to repair themselves in a relaxed state while you're asleep can fix most things.

Going to the hardware store feels like Christmas.

Seemed like yesterday I was waiting for NCAA 2006 on the PS2. I eagerly unwrapped presents hoping for some other awesome game, or at least a gift card to Game Stop.

But now, it’s Lowe’s or Home Depot. I’ll get excited over buying a new shovel or a saw blade.

Sex, as a topic, is now behind food discussions and bowel movement comparisons.

When taking a dump is an enthusiastically anticipated event.

When your barber spends more time on nose & ear hair than that on your head.

When your doctor, with a sly grin, looks at you and says “you know the drill”.

My 2:

1) This one hit me yesterday...realizing that the last 3-4 retirement parties that you went to were for guys your age or younger and who started well after you did.

2) Going through an entire 8 page thread, then noticing that you went, "yeah, I can relate to that" and upvoted more than half of the posts.
