you think the entire world is freaking out over something on the same level as a virus they deal with every year?

We have never tested for anything like this. We have never recorded cases and deaths for anything else like we are for this virus.

Neither you or I know how bad this virus is in comparison to past viruses, because the world responded hysterically to this virus based on China's misinformation.

We do know that it is mild for much of the population and not fatal for the vast majority of the rest of the population.
How do you square that with the response? Something doesn't add up.

So what is your solution to Covid?

Masks and social distancing forever?

it's kind of a big deal in the world right now.
Because of the hysteria created by reactions like this.

we're on the verge of a global depression because of this virus
Because of the overreaction to the virus. Not the virus itself.

we may have to keep dealing with it for years (i'm bearish on a vaccine being developed anytime soon)
Of course. Get used to going to dances and possibly getting it instead of screaming LAWSUIT! if someone does.

A positive test result shows you may have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.

Asshat that is the antibody test not the viral test.

Someone went to a t-ball game last week who tested positive the week before. I was at the t-ball game along with probably 100 other people. Is that direct exposure to you? Are we all to quarantine for 14 days per your "personal responsibility" requirement?

There are actually guidelines to what qualifies as a direct exposure and other corresponding levels of exposure. No sitting six feet away from someone outside would not be a direct exposure.

Testing more people helps identify cases. The only way that is bad is if you are running for president and want it to go away.

Covid has had no impact on my political views. Then again, Only an imbecile would vote for Biden in the first place. You literally have to hate something so much, that you vote against your own well being to vote for that stupid frick.

over 100k have died in the US over a couple months WHILE we engaged in the largest economic shut down since the Great Depression

Exposure is defined as 15 minutes with close contact (less than 6').

Lol if you truly think Covid has killed that many people in the US. Considering what we know gets counted as one.

Do you not understand that not everyone in contact with a positive becomes positive?

Do you not understand that the average person has nothing to worry about?

What do you think is an acceptable punishment for leaving your home if you have had contact with a positive?
A fine when people are barely getting by?

You want a single mother publicly shunned because she went to work at a gas station to provide for her kids when she was exposed to a positive?
Do you not think she wasn’t exposed every day at her job?

You are nuts

False. And this has been here since December maybe even November. We are coming up on 8 maybe 9 months.

It's weird seeing him like this.

We can't just keep running and hiding from this forever. Everyone is freaking out over spikes. Are we just going to shelter in place for two more years? I get that if you have a positive in your family, you should probably be a bit more responsible. But, in spaces like a big workplace, you're just not going to be able to keep this down forever IMO.
