It's not the government's job to legislate what people eat.

The students elected these officials, and the college needs to heed their requests. The survey means nothing.

If the vast majority of students disagree with the elected officials then the elected officials clearly are not doing their jobs right. The elected officials are supposed to be the voice for the student body. Clearly the student body wants chik fil a, but the elected officials are ignoring the very people who elected them.

just like your liberal party.

Exactly why do you keep calling me Eva Braun?

I have my own beef, so no workers are being exploited and no environment is being destroyed.

Anybody that ever uses the word "reasonable" when talking about regulations and laws really means "What I think is right".

Who else? It isn't going to be the mostly ignorant voters? Leave it up to the right wing, and there would be no government regulation of anything. "We don't hire blacks or women." Just fine. "We serve fries cooked in lard." Good. "No gays can join our club." Great. Is that how you want it?

Actually, this is what I want. You realize that in a free society none of the above should be illegal when talking about a private company. Then the citizens of said society get to choose whom they do and do not support.

Who gets to define reasonable? I have a feeling you and I would vastly differ on what is reasonable and both of us think we are right. What makes your reasonable more reasonable than my reasonable.

I agree.

Not allowing you to spew your vile bigotry is a completely reasonable regulation. Some people don't deserve to talk because they spread their toxic values to others.

I vote that we silence you and your hate speech. This is common sense regulation for this board. All in favor, say "aye".

Reasonable educated people decide what is reasonable. It is not rocket science. For food standards, get a sociologist, nutritionist, etc. and form standards.

I could draft standards in five minutes - reduce the salt and fat by about 80%. Limit french fry portions.
