Forced to change their behavior?
Never once do I recall sitting in the lunch room thinking "You know what I could go for? A bowl of peanuts, some scallops, and a couple slices of pineapple. If only it wasn't for the sickly kid over there".
There's no behavior change and no one would even notice if schools never served those foods. I get your point on public restaurants, but putting kids in a potentially deadly situation under the guise of "Lol, sorry that you have a deadly allergy but no one else does so we'll just continue to serve this food that serves no particular purpose out of spite" is absurd.

absolutely not. That was in response to you saying just avoid it. Accidents happen, and when dealing with kids its a whole different ballgame. Was explaining to you how deathly it can be even without eating it.
I said to try and avoid it and to be proactive and have what you need to combat it if you are exposed.
I know that I come off as insensitive. Maybe it’s because my kids don’t have any serious food allergies. My little boy loves
peanut butter sandwiches. Asks for one every morning. Without fail.
So i’m Sure he’s had some “peanut residue” on him.
But I wouldn’t tell him he couldn’t have his sandwich because someone else can’t tolerate peanuts. I’d just have him wash his hands.

So she got it on her hand and nothing happened?
From other sources she went into anaphylactic shock, they gave her an EPI pen and she was rushed to the hospital.

no i wouldnt tell mine either. But i would make sure he washed his hands before he went to school. And would never allow him to take a pb&j to school if there was a kid there that couldnt just "tolerate" it. I mean, its totally his fault he cant "tolerate" it and possibly die. Im sure he asked for that.

she needs to learn to tolerate it better. Most these allergies can be overcome

Maybe I came across as too insensitive.
I know kids can’t help it. I just think it’s better to be prepared on your own for issues than to trust that others will know and accommodate them.
Be proactive and plan for the worst.
I guess we got away from the topic at hand.
Those teenage girls are vindictive little cünts and should be punished.
Have a great day.

i understood your thinking the whole time. And if it were some intolerance or something i would agree 100%. But deadly allergic reactions just have to be treated different, especially with kids who dont always take every precaution as an adult would.

How can you be allergic to pineapples?
You can be allergic to many weird things.
I for instance am allergic to strawberries, olives, kiwi, shiitake mushrooms, and Novocaine.

In junior high, there was a 7th grade girl who was more developed than the other girls, if you will. I remember one day on the bus going home, a few boys ripped her bra off, and while she sat on the bus covering herself up embarrassed, they all were holding up the bra and passing it around laughing.
That's some fricked up shite.
Can you imagine that being your daughter? Imagine for a second, solely on the logistics of it, trying to rip off a chick's bra. It's not like tearing paper...I mean, you gotta actually put some work in there.
That was definitely a collective effort among those boys. They had to have held her down and ripped that fricker off.
Exactly why a long time ago, I put my daughter in boxing. frick that.

Why is battery called assault?

Why is battery called assault?
It is a fairly common concept to confuse.

As someone with a shellfish allergy i can relate.
When a shrimp can kill you, it's time to hang it up.

It’s frustrating. And really rather simple.
Assault: “I’m going to hit you with this hammer!”
Battery: *hits, or attempts to hit, you with this hammer*
Assault: “I’m going to hit you with this hammer!”

10 years ago that's called "High School."
Kids at your high school purposely went around trying to expose people to things they were known to be allergic to?
