Very few degrees are worth going into debt for, if you can't get a scholarship or your parents aren't paying it's time to learn how to turn a wrench baw

My Electrical Engineering degree cost me 65k total and I make a healthy amount over that.
Would do again.

Depends where you go and what your major in.
Do something that's actually marketable and valued. I'm back in college at 29 right now because I got a CJ degree.
Louisiana pays its Police officers, probation officers, etc like frickin rented mules, so I'm back in school.

8th grade for basic grammar and 11th grade usually polishes it up.
They do not teach spelling in college.
Buy a used unabridged funk and wagnall dictionary.
Keep on kitchen table. Read from cover to cover. Skip no pages. Focus on etymology, which is provided with every word.
1 page or more after each meal or with meal.
Buy scrabble dictionary. Play scrabble, even by yourself. You will be a better speller soon.

Well I can definitively say I would rack up exactly 92,000 in debt to attend the University of Texas

My grad school costs around 40k for the full program
I'll probably start at 65k and will can earn above 85k especially if I go the home health route for therapy

Or you can do like I did and a lot of other people have done by working and paying your own way. What happened to that option? I graduated with money in my pocket.

Normally I go by the 1:1 rule.
If you're degree is worth the salary you receive then do it.
If it's below its almost 100% not worth it.
A lot of the Lib Arts majors get all upset when we shite on their degrees but I can assure you the job selection is much MUCH smaller for those degrees in today's job economic climate.
