I prefer to give him credit and assume he found one better looking and that is what caused her to go nuts. They generally do not go batshit crazy unless the guy upgrades for a better model.

Two points:
1.) He obviously pulled her in the first place. So, it's completely possible he isn't afraid to move on to find another one. She's upset that he's upgrading.

2.) She puts herself out there a lot and is not used to rejection. So, when he tells her he's moving on, she loses it. In this scenario, he can't pull better, yet still decided to move on.
