I misread the other thread subject and it got me thinking about the “Orangutan”...

This is a huge Sumo wrestler vs an average sized Orangutan in a tug-of-war.

Just look at the card for age/weight/reach/etc between the two... you’ll be surprised

Some people on this board think a human could beat a chimp or orangutan in a hand to hand fight

Maybe at the end... but he was surely pulling in the beginning and then the ape was like, “Oh! This is what we’re doing? Ok...”

Jaguar vs Croc

saw this the other day on the facebook. I had no idea jaguars were as strong as they are. That thing attacks a croc on land and then drags it into the water....i didnt know it could do that.

I knew gorillas were “strong”, but this is fricking crazy...
quote:

Gorilla
A gorilla can lift something 2,000kg (as heavy as 30 humans), over 10 times their body weight.

Surface area to volume ratio son. Wouldn’t hold true if fleas increased to monkey size.

I believe the Orangutan is stronger, but the tug o war looked fake. I believe the fat guy could have jerked the monkey off by timing his pulls. I don't think the monkey could have understood timing and balance.
