Yes. There is a fine line of bothering others. She was young and truly a fidgety kid later diagnosed with ADHD (no, we didn’t medicate a young child). And she didn’t wiggle all of the time and could sit still, and then there were times I wanted to get up to leave. And my friend would say “stay” and carried a bag of stuff my daughter could occupy herself with. And about 6 or so, she suddenly joined in loudly on a hymn and you’d have thought you heard angels singing. People turned to see who was singing so on key and so beautifully. What a voice! By her pre-teen years, she was singing solos in the evening services. Glad I didn’t quit going.
Strollers if they aren’t blocking doorways etc. are no problem. Love seeing the babies.

Well if you go to church every week then you would be the one to know the answer to your question.

B. They are probably the Doona which is a car seat/stroller combo
You gotta be a real short baw to be able to push one of those around.

Gotta start 'em young so they write those checks later.

When did this become a thing? This was unheard of when I was growing up. Even when my now teenage kids were babies this was nonexistent. We brought the baby carrier in and rocked them in the pew or took them for a walk. It looks like a stroller derby lately. Soft as society.
Become an atheist. You will no longer have to concern yourself with issues such as this.

I don’t have any experience with them, but those are the ones that I see most often in church. We use an Uppababy Vista, but it stays in the vehicle while in mass.

OP should be happy about people going to church with their families. Instead, bitches about strollers for some reason.

I was in mass one time when the priest asked the parents to take their baby outside. They were letting the baby scream their lungs out. I don't know if they were trying to hold the kid or do anything, but the priest stopped a few times and clearly getting annoyed. If a baby gets like that one of the parents usually takes the child outside... But this particular time, evidently the parents didn't care at all..

Let me rephrase, if every time a family brings their baby to church and the baby cries bloody murder, screams, etc throughout mass (or services), then maybe the parents could switch out every week. One stays home with the baby while the rest of the family goes to church. Once that child is.. I guess over the age of 1 years old... 16.. 20 months, then bring the child to church, if there are still problems, wait a few more months and try again.
And this is to parents who will let their child cry and cry, scream and cry without taking them to the area reserved for bringing babies into or outside.
The church I attend when I do go has two areas in the back, one on each side that is reserved for parents to bring their babies into in those situations.
I am not referred to parents who do not allow their baby to cry hysterically through mass (or service), I am referring to those who, for some reason, thinks its okay to just let their baby cry and cry while the do nothing. To those parents, they should just stay home of the baby is going to cry loud most of the mass (service). And in churches that echo its even worse. And most parents are, but for those who are not.. it still should never get to the point where the priest has to address the situation.
