Might a chance he picked someone up along the way. Never can rule that out.

Wouldn't this have involved 2 people in addition to the guy who is missing : his car and the driver of the car that allegedly possibly murdered him and drove him to Walker Co. and then, make that a second person, who drove the car that transported the alleged murderer from Walker Co.?
If the car was burned intentionally was it a battery fire or was it an accelerant caused fire?

may have gone to the airport to use a Tesla Supercharger

Supercharger overheated and the car burst into flames. Tesla didn’t want this information to get out so they abducted him, drove the car into the country to cover it up.

If they have him on camera leaving the airport alone, and they have data that shows he took backroads and drove recklessly, it seems likely that he wrecked it himself causing the fire.

There was a shooting at the neighborhood Wal-Mart in New Iberia this afternoon.

It's closed now. Cops processing the scene. Reportedly an employee was shot near the entrance.

Hopefully they’ll be able to recover the data from the cameras and close thus easily.

There would be plenty of data if Tesla feels like releasing it. They’re just notoriously hard to deal with on getting data because they don’t want people to know how much they collect.

Per a cousin of his on Instagram he may have gone to the airport to use a Tesla Supercharger not to pick someone up or catch a flight. Which is another layer to the story because his apartment complex has Tesla chargers available.

Maybe the apt complex charging spots were full though? That’s very reasonable to me? Or he left without looking at the mileage and the airport was on his way?

How do those work with a smart watch? Can you use a smart watch with something like Apple Pay and to start the car without your phone? If so that seems very logical for someone to only use their smart watch routinely and leave their wallet and keys at home?

I know very few people that are awake at this time. Most are either gym bros or fishing guides. This guy looks like neither. I would put some mental health reason as to why he was up at this time, especially if he had work the next morning.

The car reportedly sat at the Huntsville International Airport for four hours

The only reason I ever go to an airport is to fly out or to pick someone up. I would believe that to be true for most people here. Couple that with him leaving his wallet and phone at home, I would say he either didn't want to be tracked, identified, or have them stolen.

Someone/something happened at the airport to send this guy full tilt and wreck his car.

He was an engineer for NASA, the 3rd option for someone up is a gamer/ computer guy. Which seems extremely logical and possible here.

4:32am is also around noon in Eastern Europe where someone may have been catfishing him?

A good many people go into work on Redstone Arsenal between 6:00 and 6:30. Traffic getting into most gates is a nightmare after 7am, so many departments allow their people to come in early. Him being awake at 4:30 probably wasn't unusual.

Would be helpful to know if the body in the car was in the driver seat or the passenger seat (or back seat).

cameras will only save an “event”, so the only saved footage might just be the crash

Yep, long-term footage usually has to be saved manually.

Even then, it's possible for any such data to be lost in an accident that disables the battery, or for there to only be partially retrievable information (like from one camera).

Teslas also have in-cabin cameras pointed at the driver.

Some of these data points are an almost live feed to data repository. If Tesla wants to share the data, they can 100% tell everyone what happened.

Interesting. In addition to telemetry do they capture AV, or is it actually known what they collect?

If you have the right NDA in place it is. But good luck finding someone who’ll chance the $10MM per violation penalty.

It is just odd to me that this has been entirely ignored by local Huntsville news outlets. They cover the most mundane shite, especially wrecks, on their Xwitter accounts, but I haven't seen anything about this.
