I’d report it to the authorities. I mean, you may as well now that you posted ok an internet message board about it.

Next the realtor won't know you and you'll find an old Indian burial ground on the property that dead animals come back from. This is what HOA's have come to.

Also, how the frick did you go 6 months until finding the random gun in the closet? Seems you would’ve seen that shortly after moving into an otherwise empty house.

So first text the other person that was texting about previous owners. If you can establish that it’s a woman, start flirting. Get her to send you nudes. Then download the nudes and post them on here. And if anyone gives you any shite over any of this, don’t worry, you have a gun.

If this is all true, under no circumstances do you keep that gun. When, where, and how you get rid of it is up to you. I would not have ownership of a gun I found under those circumstances, especially a handgun.

Call cops, run serial number. Change barrel. Move on.

A new barrel is 50-100 bomes

I'm not trying to get ideas for my new crime fiction novel
Just really weirded out by it. Could be a normal explanation I just haven't thought of a good one yet. My friend suggested maybe the wife didn't like the husband having a gun and hid it and "got lost during the move."

Trap house for the cartel. Likely a bunch of cash in the walls. Punch holes in the sheetrock and get it before the narcos come back

It took you 6 months after buying the house to open the closet door.

This thread is all kinds of BS.
