At this stage, it almost certainly will be.
Something to keep an eye on as it gets closer, though.

The 12z GFS ensembles take it toward Florida then hold up, wait a minute, westward to south of Louisiana, then nah, nevermind, let's go back east again in the last frame.
I tried to add the gif but for some reason it doesn't work.

Into Texas now with the latest run. It’s not even officially hurricane season yet and we’ve already had the first of many annual manic model runs

The latest models shows it hitting around Corpus Christi

Pass. Most of Alabama has a major rain surplus for the year. I'd also like to have a summer. Buffalo, NY was 15-20 degrees warmer than Birmingham today.

How many times do they predict a storm to go right up the pipe through Louisiana and it always goes East when it gets closer to land.

GFS still has a storm in the gulf but meandering more towards Florida.
Euro still nothing 10 days out
CMC has a development but more in the western Gulf

What else would we expect for 2020. We already have the second named storm and Hurricane season doesn’t even start until Monday.

Bertha is trying to bang us here in South Carolina, but we haven’t drank enough to take her home from the bar, yet.

I don’t know why so many people feel this way. Do you people not enjoy summer activities like swimming, the beach, the lake, etc.?
