Anyone know how bad the surge is around south of Houma? Dulac area?

Gordy was just on Fox 8 checking on the new levees down there and everything seems to me looking good. Not sure about outside the system in Dulac

This. Ten times better than the doom Sayers on the weather channel. And lately they have had a lack of talent if you get my meaning.

My prediction is there will be no surge above the levees. Anything below the levees will see 2-6 feet. Where, specifically are you asking about, because everything is different after the levees?

Here in Orange Beach. Wind and rain has been steady since yesterday morning. Wind is gusting pretty hard at times but overall just nasty.

Can't be too bad since Grand Isle is only 2 feet above normal at the moment.

No doubt.
Motorboat, don’t you have a camp down there outside the system? I think I remember you saying you flooded durning Barry? Is that right?

Winds are predicted to pick up around 11 on the bama coast. We’ll see.
Currently 10am, bay waters are very calm. No wind except for intermittent gusts 6-10mph .

Both Bridgeside Marina and Sand Dollar have live FB videos going on showing Grand Isle. Water is coming up pretty good but nothing too bad just yet
