Anyone know how bad the surge is around south of Houma? Dulac area?
Nothing like Barry. It’s actually falling at sister lake gauge right now. NNE wind helping.

Doesn’t more East help Nola? it doesn’t really change wind speed all that much and shifts a lot of the heavy rain more towards the panhandle.

If the thugs really wanted to all they would have to do is go up and down the neutral grounds along Fountainblue and Napoleon and they could hit hundreds of cars. There’s not a parking spot to be found

Motorboat, don’t you have a camp down there outside the system? I think I remember you saying you flooded durning Barry? Is that right?
correct. I'm not gonna work myself up on a Sunday morning, but the levees have totally changed the flow of water. We took on just under 6 feet of water during Barry. Watching the security camera-- Right now, it is not over the road but the wind has been mostly N and I think it is low tide.
The closing of the Bubba Dove Structure will limit northerly flow of water and artificially stack water just below the levee. So this little storm will cause problems for us. I guess we are used to it by now.

It's actually high or almost high tide. Tide will be falling by noon.

Update on the travel ball State Championship...
Traction says “play on. This wind and rain isn’t anything! Let’s get this gate and concession money!!”

That definitely helps BR as well with it moving slightly to the East.

Not much going on in GS. Some wind, big waves, and water pushing up higher. Great day to drink...like yesterday....and the day before...and so on.

Gauge isn’t that far from 4 points. It’s about 6’ lower than when Barry hit and dropping.

With the loss of Turbine 5, we will be using our EMDs at the Carrollton station when it rains. They will be loud, but they provide necessary, reliable electricity for our drainage pumps.
