I am not too far from you on the east side of Ponchatoula. I would think the worst we will see is about 30mph winds with some higher gust, between 1pm and maybe 8pm. Might see some heavy rain if a heavy band comes over us. Slight possibility of a tornado but that is normal with these systems, but the weather gurus aren't saying much about that.

This is going to primarily be a coastal flooding storm. In fact just about any low pressure in the Gulf casues coastal flooding for several years.
