The 18z EURO is way East again and weaker (994 mb at landfall). Takes it into Terrebonne Parish then right over Ascension and BR.

So looks like they are saying it’s gonna emerge and move faster across the gulf then headed north before that ridge moves in and pushes it west.

That windshield wiper is working now. At 4 everything had pushed west

TigerNAtux I'm not far from there ... I've only been out there a few times BUT I've heard good things about it from friends who camp there.

Yes but you have to pay for access to it.

Can you remind everyone of the Z=time?

My memory is that 00,12,18 isn’t equivalent to military time

What's the verdict on when heavy rain will hit the coast? From the panhandle to south LA.

Scattered Sunday-Tuesday

Not looking like a major rain event at this point. Maybe some areas get 5-6” spread out over a few days

How far east? I’m going with a track right over the BR area at 10 given what the HMON, HWRF, and 18z euro look like. What do you think?

Won't be much east. Still west of BR.

I figure roughly where it was at 10 am would be about right.
