JBE in press conference already preparing for worst case scenario talking it up to get that disaster relief money. Will they lockdown Louisiana for some more federal assistance?

It looks like it's still on track to me?

Would you rather him wait until a day out? I never understand people being upset with preparation. Also probably 80% of people that do t watch the news let alone pay attention to the weather. It doesn’t hurt to have people keep an eye on any storm.

In this case.. frick it, get that fed money. Sky screaming about an impending tropical storm to get more fed money =/= locking down your state for Fed money.

It doesn't seem to be moving south much, though the NHC will confirm this at 4.

Hmmm, maybe it's in the middle of a wobble while interacting with land?

Jesus Christ! Just imagine how much coronavirus that wind is going to stir up and disperse all over the state. If anyone with covid in Morgan City sneezes and/or coughs, that rona will be in Shreveport by the next morning...if not sooner.

It's in no man's land in terms of steering, hard to get the subtle things that move it right. Good thing is, it also isn't moving anywhere fast so errors aren't too big of a deal.

So I live not far from Vermilion Bay — we were fishing/crabbing last week.
Maybe we can go out there and blow him back to the gulf??
Semi-Quarantine during a hurricane — gotta love it.
