At 7:00pm Sunday evening, max gusts across BR area range from 30-MAYBE 40mph. Rainfall varies greatly from a half an inch from BR northward to over 3" the closer you get to southern Ascension Parish.

Chances are the wind will be almost non-existent and then you'll have random gusts out of nowhere in the squall lines.

Duke I've seen a few model runs try and take it on that left hook path towards TX as it approaches the coast. Is that a trend or just outliers at this point? Guessing it has to do with how strong the high pressure is.

Those are outliers. A NW turn on approach makes sense, but it would need to be farther west than seems reasonable coming out of Mexico to have the NW turn get it into Texas.

Would be hard to get RI with the shear and dry air that would be in play at that point, especially since he'd be still reorganizing.

Yep, but that's the explanation for the strengthening on the euro. Euro isn't picking up the shear.

Apparently half the damn board will be in Orange Beach this coming week. I’ll be coming down on Monday, but 9 hour drive from KY.

Cosmo and Paul Allen are organizing the OTGT at the Florabama. Hit them up for details.

Is there a way to send a PM to either one? Maybe a thread?

It's drifting east and will miss it's next forecast points. Was supposed to drift south more into land.

Less time over land with that or still to early to determine that?
