Definitely not normal here. Hasn't rained much at all other than a few downpour days this year. I wouldn't be shocked if rainfall totals are normal when a few days you get like 10 inch downpours all at once. Sure as hell doesn't seem like it though.

Hmmm....I've only talked to 3 farmers but they all said they planted late due to that last rain spell that lasted for almost a week.....and they to a T hoped we didn't get any huge rains for the next little while.

Hell, there ain't many more rice farmers west of Lafayette if they are in Lafayette parish...I probably know the 3 guys you're talking about...lol!

Mark Elliot on TWC keeps pronouncing Cristobal as "Crist-O-Ball" with heavy emphasis on the O. Worse yet, he's on there with the other host that says "Campeche" weird.

I went ahead and rescheduled for June 16 to June 19. Dates were open at the same place and was an easy switch.

Figured it wasn’t worth losing Sunday and part of Monday on a four day trip. Long term forecast looks good for mid June.

Mark Elliot WANTS bad weather. You can see it by the way he talks...... he is a great example of preaching tragic things will happen.

I sure as hell hope this thing doesn't want to hang around pissing all over us right off the coast.

He puts extremely heavy emphasis on the O. He will literally say it Crist-OOHH-ball.

As usual for this time of year it’s overdoing the ridge

None of the models have been very good on this storm

UKMET, although not as reliable as the EURO, is a reliable model per meteorologists on another site I’ve been reading. I don’t know if I can name that site though.
