I bet. I boarded all my windows on the south side yesterday. Had to scramble and board the north side about 2 hours ago

It's slowing down but heading NW still. If it doesn't turn, it's going right on top of Houma.

You can see on the grand isle cam how the winds have shifted from the east to out of the south now that the eye is west and moving slightly NW of the island.

Saw a video of a chouest boat breaking loose in Larose, slamming into another boat and heading for the bridge

Blows my mind that they leave those boats moored right in the bullseye. I guess its too much of a logistical clusterfrick to move that many boats in a week, especially with those companies lightly staffed right now.

The text I got didn’t say for sure. I know it’s citizens but the assumption the police chief is there too.
