Hope so. WWL had a graphic that had 150+ mph wind gusts being possible all the way up to West Feliciana. Hope that’s WAY off.
They are on that Rob Perillo crack cocaine

About 8 feet is my uneducated guess

It's literally possible, but its on the edge of possible. If it wasn't going to take its sweet time getting up there it would be one thing, but I think you're just in for 100+ gusts up that way. Which, while better, is suboptimal.

I did hear that Shell Mars came loose from its mooring. Also heard that noble globetrotter was having issues.
Extremely unlikely. Mars isn't attached to the seafloor the same as an anchored vessel.

Thanks to a bit of northwesterly shear and some dry air, #Ida’s trailing half contains much more rain than the leading half.
So folks in #LAwx should be prepared for flooding even after the eye passes and/or the winds start dying down. For some the end will be the most dangerous LINK

I actually like that kind of honesty.
Translated she said, "we'll tell you what we want to tell you." Don't see that as a good thing.

It is funny, Mark Sudduth was doing that setup years ago and everyone has taken his lead. He still has longer battery backup on cams that anyone else, though. He also runs a hotspot and pressure sensors in the same boxes he sets up.
If you say so, Mark
