Did anyone else catch Nola Mayor claiming it would take several days to set up contraflow ? Wouldn't there be a set plan already devised for this ? Or am I uninformed ? I know it's a moot point at this moment.

Latoya Cantrell and Sharon Broome both LOVED them so many frequent Press Conferences/Media Appearances when it involved Social Justice issues or COVID.
However, neither of those two clowns could be available to do a long format interview on CNN at 5:19AM PT where they would have to be accountable for the guidance they give with hours to go until the storm - when this is actually a real time that people could be given sound information on a 90 minute window to get out of respective towns now.
Instead, Southern Louisiana gets less coverage (because CNN has run out of B-Roll and Radar footage) and the national attention goes back to Afghanistan - instead of creating awareness to non-locals that might be more willing to give to Red Cross or assist in another way after this natural disaster.

She lied. The blue print was there from 2005. Same exact timeline of when things escalated. Contraflow could have been executed all day yesterday into the late night.
