just don’t see how the whole area could recover from a 3rd hurricane in 12 months. Heck Mayor Hunter is still lobbying for money to help from Laura. Another one would seem like the final blow

While I applaud Brother Hunter for his efforts, we aren't getting crap and he should have figured that out about 8 months ago when he met with that Treasury Secretary Senora Goober Yellen. What she would do for him I have no idea.

Golden Corral is back open and thriving. Economic recovery is in full swing.

Yeah I know and he probably knows it to but he’s gotta keep “trying”. I’m with you he’ll never get what he’s asking for

Hurricane hunters heading out tomorrow and we’ll know a lot more about where it actually is.

Fox8 saying that it’s not likely to go more East than Mobile with Louisiana landfall more likely.
Storm projections are starting to talk about a large system with wide ranging effects surrounding the center.

I’m starting to plan for at least a cat 1 with effects sometime between late Sunday and early Monday morning.
I’ll be camping out on this thread for the next few days

Yeah, that works out to about 140 mph sustained winds.

Seems like the 18z Euro ensembles have a pretty wide range of initialize positions and still can't seem to get it east of LA.

I mean it wasn't really "work" today. Mostly trying to stay awake in training while the online instructor played videos of people reading powerpoint slides.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars being invested to train an entire section of a Fortune 100 company. Covid has the classrooms shut down, so the best they could do was an online video-inside-video with the narrator s-l-o-w-l-y reading words on the screen.

I read the handout then napped from 10:30 until lunch.
