In a dark humor sort of way, its ironic. He is advocating for the poorest citizens and areas of LC that would need recovery funds (i.e. black areas of town). Democrats haven't done anything to help expedite funds or release money.

It's not the Graywoods or Moss Bluff homeowners that are needing this money. It's Goosport and the like.

I don't expect our citizenry to understand that though and see it translate to actual votes. JBE has even done the absolute bare minimum.

Anyone play around with this site:

NOAA Hurricane Tracking Data

I drew a polygon on the approximate location of the "center" of what we are looking at.

So, I looked at a few paths where the storm formed a depression near the zone I drew. Also, only looked at storms in late August or early September. Also, didn't look at storms that formed well before passing in this zone.

1926 - Cat 3 Storm Came up the poop shoot in Terrebonne Parish

1906 - Cat 3 Pascagoula, MS

1961 - Carla Port Lavaca, TX

These may not tell us exactly what our current situation will be, but they can give us an idea or clues where we are likely to end up with strength or path especially if you look at historical weather in those years.

Hopefully, this thing dissolves into nothing more than a rain event, but all that we know is that is going to hit somewhere.

He'll go anywhere they send him, and if his plane ever landed here, he'd follow whoever is leading him off the plain, around the corner, and through the bushes (re the Twatter vid from a few days ago showing him ignoring directions and following the secret service dude into the shrubs).

But, the Cabal can't have Dementia Joe out there wandering around--someone might ask a question that's not on his teleprompter.

According to this calculator it would only be a 289 mph max wind speed with a 539 mb pressure. Doesn’t sound bad at all.......

I booked Wed-Sunday at a hotel in Houston incase this just comes right for the LC area again. I'm hedging my bets.
